We always love going to Cedar Point Halloweekends and this year was one of the best yet! The new addition of “Hexed!” was a pleasant surprise and the return haunts, both indoor and outside, didn’t fail to scare and entertain our reviewers. If you visit Cedar Point for the Halloweekends, be sure to stay in the Breakers Hotel to really get in the Halloween spirit!
When the weather is nice and still warm most of the rides are still going, which thins out the lines at the haunts. The fast pass is the way to go, otherwise you won’t be able to get through all the haunts. If you buy the fast pass then go ahead and buy the Key Rooms. You wont be disappointed.
School is back in session! The Dent Schoolhouse made a more lasting impression this year. For regular attendees, you will not be disappointed. A number of changes have been made to keep your experience from feeling stale or repetitive.
If you’ve been to Middletown, Ohio, there’s a strong likelihood that you’ve driven past The Chambers of Horror and don’t even know it. What a shame that is. We learned that this year will be the last for this lesser-known haunt if there is not a significant increase in the attendance this year. The unassuming exterior of The Chambers of Horror may not help matters.
Land of Illusion has finally made a bold move – making the clown house scary again. Gone are the plethora of blacklights illuminating every square inch inch of space to accommodate a “3D” environment. Now it’s dark, dingy and foggy – the ideal environment for clowns if you ask me. Without a doubt the best improvement to the park this year.
